Job security is there, that is the only like about it. If you able to manage good politics then TCS is best for your career. But recommended not to join TCS at the early stages of your career.

If you join a project and stay for few years, and somehow you are liked by your clients then your career will stuck there only, you won't be able to change project until you fight a lot with management and they will threat you about your appraisal or bad ratings etc. If you aspire for different tool learning and for that move to other project they won't allow the same. Then last option is to switch. But sometime switch is not that easy.. So you will feel like you stuck. Onsite opportunity is there but that too Also involved politics and oiling buttering stakeholders like manager, sdms etc.. So you have to leave your dignity sometimes. TCS is not at all a bad company but few rotten managers made it difficult for associates. Salary increment is everyone knows.. Very poor. It even doesn't bit inflation....Read More

Although the company has good job security, the working culture is very poor. During the lockdown period everybody expecting developer should work at least 12-15 hours. Not at all have personal and work life balance.
