There is a lot of job security and work-life balance, but I think it depends on the project to project basis. However, if you are looking to gain career growth then believe me this is not the company for you. There are lot of onsite opportunities but you have to make a stand for that. The medical insurance is much better and provides you with domiciliary amount per head per year and that to for much lesser amount....Read More

They have a very substandard salary packages offered, and appraisals are much less than that of other companies. There is a lot of politics when it comes to appraisals, and don't fall for the decimal based ratings, it's a scandal to trap you in :D. They have a no rehire policy so once joined then stay to get job security else drop to get hikes from the market leaders. Tip: Don't fall for medical insurance....Read More

I have a very cool project and doesn't require much of your time and mind. But I do prefer something more challenging, which I believe we won't find in here.

TCS will use you like a condome. The moment they do not have projects in which they cannot accomodate you. They will give give you a bad rating in appraisal and force you to resign. They will not spend a single Penney to increase your employability or calliber.

TCS believes in exploiting what you know. They never spend on Learning and Development of associates.

Onsites are good but momentary benefits are less. If you are young then it is fine. For senior associates overseas appointments are a no no.
