Fully remote work. Work life balance is dependent on the kind of project and team you are working with. In my case, it's a chill project not so hectic deadlines. Within few hours of working I can finish my work for the entire day and remain free and can do other things that I like in the mean time. Good company for software engineers who are seeking stability and less hectic work, but again, it depends on the team and the projects associated. Not good for software engineers who are seeking challenging problems and projects, and wanted to grow their skills to the next level. Good for family men/women who seeks stability with less hectic work. But some projects do require 24hr support. Fortunately, I am not part of it for time being. Skill improvement program are not so good here, kind of average and requires 32 hours of such programs to be finished by the employee on mandatory basis to become eligible for variable pay part from the CTC. Salary & benifits depends on your negotiation skills at the time of joining which in most cases employee is at losing position and ends up getting less than he deserves(of course for highly skilled engineers case only). Salary hike is bad. I too got it after 1.5 years of working here. As they are having continuous evaluation process and can happen at any time when the management wants, due of which they can delay the hike and promotion on their will. Every employee must push it hard and keeps on asking their reporting managers, then only they can have good chances of getting it(but don't expect good hike). 1. The current management is clueless about where the organization is headed. They don't have any clear future plans to improve. 2. The so-called continuous appraisal process is the most biased one that the organization follows. Most of the employees didn't get their pay raise in the last 2 years, even after their exceptional performance. 3. Even after projecting 20–30% growth in every quarter (not sure about the authenticity of those claims), most of the employees get only 50% of their owed annual performance bonus. 4. Too much internal politics makes it difficult to grow professionally. The management is not easily approachable. If any employee started complaining about their issues, it always impacted their performance quietly. 5. Most of the time, the management forces the employees to work beyond office hours, mostly late at night and sometimes during the weekends. They ruin employees work-life balance completely. 6. They have a referral recruitment program, and they should pay the compensation for the referred candidate after completion of 6 months in the organization as per the HR policy. But they hold the compensation if they fail to assign the candidate to any project. 8. While joining Tcg you can get a hike of your choice in Kolkata. Headquarter of the company is im my hometown.

Dislikes

No work like balance. People work for 15-16 hours atva stretch. You are asked to work on Saturday Sunday and even when you are in leave. You are asked to join call early in the morning and go on working till you finish all the job. The job given to you is for 15 days and you are asked to complete over the weekend.
