Good that you can learn lot of new things and understanding technical concepts is much easier as data for all aspects are available and good document procedures are in place in every key areas.

Dislikes

Not a great company for a experienced personnel, You need to join at 40+ age and stay there. Completely process oriented company where process is just a norm and doesn't find its full effectivity. SOP, process excellence is another time consuming things.

They support you in such a way that they never bother about your health condition and untill you are alive you need to work. Before accepting the offer letter from this organisation please do rethink of your life and career goals.

Exposure is very very good, especially to new hires and campus hires. Performance appraisals are the best in the manufacturing industry.

Working hours are higher with little to no margin for work pattern flexibility.

Not defined system.driven by people not by system.No relation with Tata group.As Deputy Mgr in design department they treat design department as support system for toolroom only.No coordination with plant n trial team.Salary growth is negative

Increments are not good in the company. Bonds and agreements are placed to lock the promotion in the company.Workers are targeted by asking about any problems in the company. According to the Tata code, everyone should have the same rules and benefits in the company, but it should not be like that.Many people who have worked in thisorganization for 10 to 12 years are leaving. As the domain is demanding work life balance is bit harsh, in emergencies. If demand is there than you’ll be needing to stay at office or on site. Other ways it’s fine.
