There is no micromanaging. We all have our goals, tasks and projects and we're expected to complete them with the best quality of the work. But no manager or senior is going to be watching what you do everyday or how much time spend on break- as long we meet our deadlines and deliver quality work, there is no backlash from the management.

Dislikes

Restrictive working hours making it like a typical 9 to 6 job.I wish there was more flexibility in terms of timing. Also, wish its was just a 5-workweek. working on Saturdays can be tiring..

the primary enticing thing about shyplite is flexible work culture, Higher management is always looking for innovation and development. everyone's ideas and views on the table are given consideration leading to learning and development. proper work-life balance is another advantage to the company.

Dislikes

the only constructive feedback for Shyplite is to incentivize the teams for their hard work though individuals are being incentivized for their performance yet we require a concrete new incentive structure.

I have worked here for over a period of 10 months and I am happy to see the company grow so much. there are some hiccups, but the founders handle it very well that the employees never feel the pinch of it. we work as a team and always stay in touch.

Dislikes

Nothing as such, but there is definitely room for improvement. The team is growing 5 fold and the line managers will need to adapt to managing big teams, there could be hassles till the entire hiring freeze and the capacity utilisation is over 80% and runs for 6 months. Post which people will get used to the best practices. Again this is an assumption, would update post 6-7 months. So far I haven't seen anything that could be mentioned as "dislike"....Read More

The good thing is people at Shyplite, both superiors and subordinates mean business during business hours. That doesn't mean all work and no fun. The company culture inculcates on how to prioritise key deliverable and stick to timelines. Rest is fun.

Amazing office culture and policies are employee centric. Work in this company involves top players in the logistics and shipping industry that help us to grow explicitly. There are good and very kind colleagues to work with. The office space if fun and growth is holistic.

It can be a challenge sometimes to communicate with teammates and convince them of a better option to handle queries.

I Loved working in this company, every employee held responsible for his or her own work. There is no hand- holding and it is a great place for self starters and self- motivated professionals.

I wish there was an option to extend work from home responsibilities as the rise in the cases may be very stressed.
