Horrible work life balance. I was stranded in nearby village, when my son was discovered COVID positive. No one to stand up for the rights of the staff. Everyone is trying to save their necks. To carry my hubby to the hospital, I had to plead for an ambulance. Was given 50% salary through out the pandemic and that also after lot of humiliation</mark>. The best part is the campus which is situated in Lavish Greenery and the salary , even in the pandemic situation each and every employee was taken care.

Dislikes

Only the late working hours and some of the old employees who do not let others grow . The work pressure is very high, sometimes teachers have to stay to work for 10-12 hours a day.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I h ave to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Except free food and rent free rooms in campus you get charged for electricity. initially they will not say about it but later it will get deducted from the salary.

Food is mostly bad except the breakfast. The working hours have no limit. Payment is made after 1 and half months. I was not paid for three months in the end and there is no fixed holiday. even on public holidays the teachers are made to work along with other staffs.

Nothing in favor of an individual, Principal is very polished to deceive. The school owes me and my wife's full one full month's salary against notice charges although you served the notice period, still she deducted that to after our departure.

SGIS is the best school in Kolhapur, Infrastructure is the best and work environment is very good but balance of professional life and family life is not that much good cause of work culture. Salary is better than other school but no annually traveling allowance for teachers, no proper holiday will be given for teachers .Teachers are from various culture backgrounds.
