Likes

Overtime facility. 6 working days a week. They follow all the local regulations & employee benefits. Opportunity to work with International staff. Monthly birthday party & encouragement to staff. Respect all the culture & give all national holidays (21 nos.). They tried to make it Great Work Place.

Dislikes

Job Uncertainty. Here I seen my colleague getting fired when the project finances were in bad shape. On completion of project they terminated the employment contract. Do not provide food facility. Fixed time to come on site.

Work Details

MEP (Mechanical) coordination with subcontractors & vendors for material supply, design & site execution. Review of subcontractor bill & get it certified from client.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
