Dislikes

My role had almost zero oversight and I worked exclusively with people from another contracting company, where neither their company nor ours was the prime contract for our project. The result was a MESS of internal politics, and a lack of effective leadership and accountability. It was one of those jobs where I learned so much of what not to do and had to flex skills and grow because of massive leadership gaps among the people I worked with. People from the other contracting company were happy to take credit for my work before the client but did not take accountability for their own mistakes, creating a culture of misunderstanding and lack of trust that was not a healthy work environment. The final result was burnout and I no longer work here....Read More
