Note - This is for (Pan) India only.
They try to maintain a good culture. Work hours are flexible. Mostly because I have a great manager! Kudos to them.
They try to provide you with everything you need to get the work done.
WLB is good enough. I rate it 3.8ish out of 5. Look at the cons.
Salary is Standard Good nothing to brag muchabout but not shabby, For benefits look at the Cons.
Emphasis on learning and self-growth is there and they help with reimbursements and stuff. Rate it 4.2/5....Read More

I have a lot to say not because this is not a good company. But because, it can become a great place for people to work!
They do provide everything but the WFH setup and costs that we incur are way too much and they offer you INR 20k onetime and internet bills (which you have to upload every month). Industry standard is about $1000 for onetime and internet bills can be counted as reimbursements to not incur taxes but whats the need of bills every month?
WLB is good but there's not much regard for one's health when there's deadlines and late night meetings. There should be strictness against calling someone at late hours and discouraging work on weekends and it should be a message from the leadership.
Although other counterparts of teams do get "Open Leave Policy" (Read unlimited). Indian teams don't get that, I do get that you have to show the standard 22- 25 leaves to the govt. But 22 Leaves are too few for 12 months. So, if you went out with your family for 10 days, you have 12 leaves left which means you can only get sick once per month. So, if you fall sick and take 4 days leave twice. now you have 4 leaves left. Now you will be thinking twice before taking a leave because you have 8-9 months left. There's no point of a caring day (which they give once in a quarter), If you are counting leaves especially when the same policy is there in other teams and it has been adopted by many Indian companies. Bottom line, A company should be able to depend on an employee to be responsible and reliable in times of need and there's no need of keeping count as long as the work is getting delivered and the manager-employee can discuss if there's more work coming or if they need a little more time. Of course, the leaves can be planned for the future months and hence the work can be planned as well.
Also, the company advertises (on youtube as well) that they're "work from anywhere" before it was covid. Still, In India there's no flexibility at least for those whose work can be done from anywhere, like software/design/content - related creative positions.
Coming to benefits, there's not much to say - there is no free food, no cab reimbursements, health insurance is not from the best of the insurers and it keeps changing (every year) as they're figuring it out, there are no tax saving options (like none!), when all this is standard in every Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies.
Also, the variable amount in salary hugely depends on company's performance which you will have to have if you have salary falls in 30% tax bracket and the company's stocks only keeps dying down, which the company doesn't provide any assurity on to employees. Sidenote, this also makes the RSUs they offer worthless every year and following.
There's very little management staff and you will not be getting much personalized help or support. Especially the financial HR side isn't very clear and not available mostly and there's a lot of poor management. The core issue is bad policies and fewer staff as well. There are no People HR as well, there's just one person! And no, you don't get anyone to go to with your concerns or anything.
At the same time the company's really bad at making people socialize in the India team, they are trying to do better but there are not much socializing efforts and getting to know or appreciating people here by doing timely interactions, games, or sending gifts etc.
I would talk about mental health counsellors or other people/career counsellors for supporting the employees but since there are is no basic employee interaction, leave that out of the expectation. Bottom line, not many efforts for managing mental health of the employees - they could probably partner with some app and help people get therapy session packages for free because it's not something that you can help by holding a session once a year in which there are 100s of people. Also, as a side note there's no focus on maintaining a diverse and inclusive culture and it's something of a bookish or formal training here that you need to complete but that's it!
Coming to Self Growth and Learning, They do provide learning materials and reimbursements and encouragement, but I don't think that's the only thing that will encourage employees to learn and grow and you will also be restricted to not follow something irrelevant of your current job - Let's say if you are a graphic designer and you want to learn how to code, which I feel is really limiting and selfish. As it is made sure that everyone has work assigned all the time, so even if the planned work is all done, you will be instantly assigned more work (even if it's not a priority). For learning, you will be asked to do on weekends which assumes that the employees don't have other things to do in their lives and with family and friends....Read More
