When I joined here as a Support Specialist a year before, I saw tons of negative reviews about the work nature, KPIs, hire and fire practices, worst Work life balance,etc Now, since I have successfully completed 1 year in Revolut, here is my POV: 1. First, I can’t disagree with all the above things, I’ve seen that. But, I don’t think it makes this company the worst ever. Nowadays, we can expect these kind of practices almost every companies including big named companies as well. 2. At the end of the day, if you do your daily work properly, and managing keep up the KPIs, you can survive in this company like I did. 3. About career progression, it depends on your overall performance every quarter. If you exceed your performance, there’s always an opportunity awaits here to move forward, which ofcourse includes more work and high salary. 4. Salary. I don’t think any company especially in India offering this much of package for a support role except for 1 or 2 companies. 5. You're gonna have to do 4 jobs in 1 : SDR/Account Exec/Account Management/Customer Service No pro/perso work balance Absolutely no job security, they will fire you every months or quarters if you dont' reach 100% of the target target and they assume that there is no humanity in this company. For them you are just a number. Just check on linkedin... people are usually staying between 1 and 6 months TOO MANY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, there is like 160 AE in France and the same in every country, it's stupid you can't find new customers or prospects, everybody already have been contacted by someone. Everything: No structure, no growth opportunities. 500-1000 people are doing the same job as you, you have no impact at al, you're just a number. People prospecting outside their defined territory and stealing your outbound clients, top management doesn't care, as long as there is a new client onboarded. Cheap mentality, managers have no skills at all, knew more about FX market than my former manager. Revolut only cares about their reputation/image, but don't care about people, but they'll pretend to care for their mental health. I would recommend this place for narcissists and psychopaths, a workplace where they would thrive. They only care about acquisition of new clients, otherwise there wouldn't be so many sales people in the defined territories, it's only about money money and money. They also lie about their valuation, they pretend it's 33bn $, it would be closer to 33bn argentinian pesos, they probably mistaken the currency, which wouldn't surprise me with their lack of incompetence. First of, Where does that money come from? They don't even have a UK banking license, hence they're unable to benefit from interest from loans. Their valuation is even bigger than real big banks or other fintechs like monzo that where at least able to have a UK banking license. It's all bluff, to make their company more attractive to customers. They failed to deliver their annual accounts for 2021, so how do they come up with 33bn $? Had 2 or 3 resignations of their CFOs in the last 4 years, the last one didn't even last 10 months, what a joke. CFOs not lasting in a fintech is like a CTOs not lasting in a tech company. It's the essence of the job. Probably nothing wrong with the CFOs themselves though, but this is just the evidence of a toxic, shady business structure, where people can't do their job properly. Oh yeah, and the 5 stars reviews are just people in their start that are asked to put a 5 star review by top management, so don't take that too much in account.
