Store Manager aka Store Karta is egoistic and do favouritism. He doesn't have any kind of system knowledge and delegates all task to his subordinates. As a result his store has high attrition rate. Shows favouritism by only accepting leaves to those who is sweet to him. While he relieves all his responsibilities on Assistant Store Manager and Department Manages and takes leaves regularly. His exact words were "ASM rehte hue mujhe karna padega kya". His subordinates are used as a scapegoat to protect and serve him. Your work experience will depends based on person to person. I like the culture and support to the employee by company in initial years .skill devlopment and learning path and promotion opportunity also very attractive.very safe and free environment for womens staff.

Company work culture is changing and not able to provide sufficient work satisfaction.Lots of hard working and great mind manager quitting job becouse of some required thing are going to happen in ground level.Very few people from high level want to listen what problem is Ground level is facing so how they will resolve to it.

The working style is a major problem the senior management is very indecisive and they only want managers who say “ yes sir I can do it for u” they don’t hv a habit of hearing NO…they were known for job security and learning everyday at workplace but there is no job security every 6 months they r companies which r not performing well and need to be closed … instead of opening new stores the whole team is working on closing of stores They ask for business without checking their basics Basic supply and availability of stocks are not available at their stores with POs being raised and no marketing who’s do u think are they going to increase footfalls into their stores It’s run by a leadership team who only understand finance n numbers n money But behind that number there’s the marketing category supply have to do U can sustain easily if u r bosses favourite … u just need to know how to say yes sir It will be done...Read More

RRL exploits it's employees. Only those who roam around mangera chairs receive good grades and appraisals. Whoever is managers favourite gets hike any number of times despite of appraisal cycle. Just doing ones job is not enough, you have to keep highlighting it all the time. Completing 9hrs is mandatory otherwise they deduct your leaves from next year's quota. Saturday working is very common without any compensation or consideration. The pay is very less, you have to earn leaves. No other benefits are there like bonus or something.
