Department provides employment to the rural inhabitants and creates rural infrastructure simultaneously. Department works for betterment of the rural population. Schemes like PMAY-G, SBM, MGNREGA are the best schemes under which financial assistance for house and for IHHL and employment is given to the beneficiaries.

Dislikes

Department is non responsive to the problems of contractual employees engaged under MGNREGA, who are working under all the schemes of RDD. Salaries of these employees are so meager that it is impossible to cater a family. Even though most of the employees has crossed the age limit to apply any where else for job. Even the government is not responsive to the genuine demands of these employees.
