Odessa is more of a Pretend-Play setup than an organization. It has had a culture of lying to customers and then pressuring the team to deliver. Leadership is just trying to save their jobs and playing favorites always. If you put your head down and work you are a great asset to them. Ever since the change in the management the company is the epitome of unstable. Not only is your job security at risk but also your compensation.

Dislikes

There’s a huge , an absolute appalling pay parity issue in the organisation for each role which creates such a negative atmosphere for employees to work but the company doesn’t seem to acknowledge it. It’s unfortunate to see such a negative shift in the organisation dynamic from what it used to be.

The company is open to let you design your own development arc. The office is really cool and they pay well. The food and snacks are on the house. They provide ample opportunities for skill development in a limited tech stack.

Company has platform and project teams. Project teams are mostly created for delivery to various clients and as such are always on a tight schedule. Upper management over commits the deliveries and thus puts pressure on the delivery units. The tech-stack is limited and obsolete. There is nothing to learn after a year.
