Hello, 6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision. My previous job had, 1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture 2. Good Time for my family & personal life 3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home 4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance Now, in my current Indian company: 1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy) 2. No proper training 3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training 4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents 5. Started my health issues My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning. *It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.* Would you recommend going back?

The canteen services and the Gym is something to cherish other than that there is nothing to like about Nomura Powai anymore. The new CSG management in Powai has messed with the hiring process, which had ruptured the Nomura's Culture.

Dislikes

Hiring Process in CSG post the Management change since 2023 had a great downfall. Nomura started Hiring Freshers with 0 Experience, having 0 corporate Etiquettes. Nomura is full of Ex Eclerx. in between they hired employees from Third party organisations which further ruptured the corporate Culture. The appraisal and Promotion process is flawed. The Numbers and reports shared by the AVP (process managers) are manipulated. Appreciations and Recognitions are biased....Read More
