I have been working for 2 years in this company but haven't been able to find out and positives. Pathetic work culture, Pathetic appraisals, Pathetic managers. Being a product based company they compare themselves with service based ones.

Manager sucks, Group leader with zero knowledge behaves like a scholar, one more manager thinks he's a dictator. Totally retarded people. Noida is a great place to work, South place is Kuppa Thotti with all Thotti people

They give good appraisal/hike if you have worked dedicatedly for the project. I got an average hike of around 48%in first year and 35%in second year. They give opportunities to travel onsite, and work individually on different modules.

I you work good, like you're a team player can work in cross functional teams very smoothly, can work on weekends and even extended hours, then they'll burden up with more responsibilities. My department was not at all supportive in the last few months, management is pathetic and HR is of no use. I have gained a lot of knowledge and exposure working here, got opportunity to travel to 2 different countries in a span of 3 years and work solely. But my mental health has been compromised a lot. Newgen really appreciates its employee's and has good culture. They hire freshers with no coding experience and turn them into developers. They have good hikes and team outings as well.

Dislikes

Newgen has work life balance like a wave in the ocean, there will be times when there is less or not too much hassle. But there will also be times where one can feel like there's no end and burn the midnight oil. The company can be a little biased based on whom your reporting to.

Nothing, just a huge trap for freshers. Especially for the ones who are offered from college placements. I'm on my knees begging you all please don't accept any offer in newgen rather be unemployed.

You'll never get to learn new skills. They value only time, not how much work you did, they will just count no. of hours you sat in the office, whether you're working or not, doesn't matter.

I think apart from salary and variable pay everything is bad. They will ask a functional person to work on testing role. Put you any project they would feel like regardless of your skill set. The culture is also bad many senior mangers are in the company for ages.. People are there in the company for so long and they do whatever they want to do.

Nothing all are fake promises. Be aware of HR, they don't tell over call anything.

There is variable pay in salary structure, but HR didn't tell me about VB they are fooling people around and they told me min 30 % hike but they only given me 15 % plus variable pay. BE AWARE OF SUCH SCAM. there is technology degrade over here they have hire me for Spring boot for one client but at client side they don't even use Spring, they use JSF & JSP.
