Webchat Dept. in chennai . Too much politics.. People licking management's shoes gets promoted to higher levels , where as the hardworkers stay in the same level and management tries to ditch them . Drug usage , alchaloic managers are allowed inside the office and when someone raises questions , they try and somehow get them fired. And they don't give a shit about employees personal life

RBS is very good company specially for girls and house wife , rbs is providing Very good environment and facilities. So that women can achieve their career in banking sector.

I Don't think so any dislike in RBS but need to improvement like more opportunities for those people who are already working with RBS from long time . Like preference for those people who is acutely deserve the next level. Please providing the support those people as well.

One of the best organisation i have worked with. Managers and higher leadership is very good. Worklife balance in the organisation is excellent and you get good amount of leaves to enjoy with your family. I want a re entry in this organisation this is all i can say.

Dislikes

The only one thing which should be corrected is providing both way cabs to employees during return to office days. Apart form this i dont have anything to say.

There is nothing to like about the company, everyday of my life here felt like a punishment, I suffered from depression due to the toxic managers who are more of hooligans than managers.

Everyday was a punishment, my physical health, my mental health, my colleagues would all agree, people were blackmailed, forced to work for long long hours, the managers would never think twice before shouting, insulting the staff and all the managers from top management supported them. I was a part of Portfolio Management Mifi Uploading and keying team, the managers were all monsters. Even when I told them about my mental and physical issues they ignored and they did the same with all my colleagues. I would not recommend working for this company who are getting hired on (FTC) if you're looking for job stability and growth. Despite completing the probation period, I was hired on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) and was never made permanent. Here are my key issues: 1.Lack of Job Security: Even after successfully completing the probation period, they continued to keep me on a fixed-term contract with no intention of making me a permanent employee. 2.No Salary Increment: As an FTC employee, there were no salary increments, which is extremely discouraging and doesn't reflect the hard work and dedication put into the job. 3.Unstable Work Assignments: After the probation period, they assigned me to different teams for various projects. Despite contributing significantly to these projects, they still refused to make my position permanent. Once the project was completed, they simply terminated my contract. 4.External Hiring Over Internal Promotion: Instead of offering permanent positions to current FTC employees, the company continuously hires new people from outside. Good pay for Freshers as of now 4LPA and best company for high level managers as may use to work here for 15+ -20+ years. Leaves are great as Annual leave -30, Sick-12, Comp off 8 per year. In my department the work culture is equal to IT, one the Well reputed company in banking

Many will work for 15+ years and become Rulers and Decide with their preferences for Promotions and Hike. This will kills the growth of an employee, some of the departments will ask you to work from that work time which is usual in banking sector.
