Dislikes

Lot of them- - No proper structure for learning. You're always learning from your peers and seniors. It's a matter of fate if you've landed in the wrong teams. There's no good process to nurture, all based upon individual - No proper work life balance and benefits. Very basic stuff. I've seen messed up life and people crying from teams because of pressure. Working on late nights, Saturday/ Sundays is a norm - Strict working hours for attendance. 3 day loss of pay if missed (not applied leave) - 99% of employees will not say a net positive thing about company - The CEO is not someone you'll look upto. No ethics, all full of ego. Always scared if people will turn him around so doesn't appreciate any ideas that is not aligning with his thoughts. Threatens people in front of everyone, makes non appropriate jokes, discourages it's employees. FOrces employees to be in formal but self comes in half pant just to show who's the boss. Also should be reported for POSH for NSFW things he says in townhalls - When corona hit, they kept stretching people coming to office until the govt made it mandatory. Also some accounts were never given WFH option. Also WFH only in Bangaluru. CEO says people shouldn't run to their mummies at these times - Even the leaders are not the ideal managers. I've seen people saying something and doing the opposite. Doesn't encourage transparency - No feedback from employees to improve anything. No consideration of NPS of company. They know it won't be positive. I also don't recommend it unless you don't have a good offer from any standard company. Try getting a good offer off-campus - Difficult to get out<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. The bond thing doesn't make any employee feel better</mark>. Huge cost to leave - Has come to light for much infamous stuff- employee pressure, frauds with US visa, employee policies - the list can go on, and the quality of the company is always going down year by year. They're exploiting people due to so much unemployment in the country - Onsite thing is also a scam. People are made to wait 4-5 years and are given basic wages, no H1B visa. Even employees who are working from US locations are given the basic wages of their standard...Read More

The learning curve is great, but only if you're motivated enough. The work culture will see a shift since the office reopens on Jan 2022. The prospects of becoming a manager after 3 years at Mu Sigma is something that can't be easily found elsewhere.

Dislikes

Not really an employee friendly company. The availability of projects are less on the data science/data analytics stack. You'd always be expected to work with very minimal input. This might be a problem for freshers since most of the seniors leave right after 3 years when the bond gets overark>. Current bond structure of 4 years may not be beneficial/worth it in the long run....Read More

The current project requires bi-weekly client calls and is a data science project. The resources are a little new and hence the progress is slow, python & R are a basic requirement. The project, recognition & all other perks will be given only

The management doesn't value employees at all. Their business model is structured in such a way that they force everyone to work for three years because of bond and they are not interested in retaining them post that. The learning curve here at working is definitely exponential. Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive.

Dislikes

There is a bond of 3 years which you cannot resign unless you give back the bonus 5 lakhs which is received at the start of the year. Even if you are ready to give back the 5 lakh there is also a notice period of 6 months

During my time there were very good data science projects and I had a lot of good exposure to data sciences.

Dislikes

Due to the bond, the company has no incentive to have a good working environment. This leads to the breakdown of work-life balance, bad culture, low pay and all good people leave once the bond period is over.

You are given a lot of opportunities which are generally given at a higher experience level, but without any guidance and support. You will learn to work under stress and become thick skinned

Dislikes

Bad work culture and work life balance. You are expected to stretch everyday and work over weekends. For skip based profiles, you are supposed to plug the knowledge gap by googling stuff. Analyst have 3 years of bond period, which you are supposed to exploit and push them to the limits. Salary structure is tied to revenue targets- yes, you have targets on your head. The highly irrational risk reward pay structure will put you under a lot of stress and you will get minimal support for any issue.Their is a lot of churn in mid and senior management, so the whole structure is very fragile....Read More
