Supportive Manager: My immediate manager is highly supportive, and creates a positive work environment. Strong Team Camaraderie: My teammates are excellent to work with. We have built strong bond and enjoy spending time together both professionally and socially.

Dislikes

Lack of Leadership Support: The head of Solutions Engineering does not adequetly support or trust his team. He fails to stand by his team during challenging time. Also, I have observed him passing racist comments to teammates publically, which doesn't suits anyone, especially to a person at a higher position in leadership hierarchy.

As a solution engineer I appreciate the company's commitment and customer centricity. There is strong focus on continuous learning of the product, technologies etc. But few things are not acceptable at all.

Dislikes

No clear definition of growth paths in solutions, Opening IJP is totally a waste or just for a name sake, Head leadership style, Lack of transparency, Frequent changes are disrupting our day to day work, Most appropriate is FAVORITISM & BIAS.

Firstly, I wanted to share some honest feedback regarding my experience at Moengage. Used to truly enjoy working here and felt motivated and value but things have changed significantly and its totally due to behaviour and approach of Head of Solutions.

Dislikes

I wanted to provide some candid feedback regarding Head of Support as his behavior is negatively impacting the work environment and team morale, Below are my concerns: 1. BODY SHAMING: Frequently makes inappropriate comments about employee's appearances in front of others, which is truly unprofessional and demotivating. 2. TWO FACEDBEHAVIOR: Appears supportive and friendly in front of employees but engages in gossip and backbiting behind their backs, creating a toxic atmosphere. 3. UNPROFESSIONAL DEMEANOR: Exhibits behavior reminiscent of stereotypical gossips, which undermines their credibility as a leader. 4. LACK OF MATURITY: Displays immaturity in handling situations and team dynamics, which reflects poorly on the organisation. 5. POOR SENSE OF HUMOR: Attempts at humor often come off as inappropriate or offensive, further alienating the team. 6. LEADERSHIP SHORTCOMINGS: Under his leadership, the solution/support teams are unlikely to grow or achieve success. His approach lacks too much vision for our growth. 7. MICROMANAGEMENT & DISTRUST: Constantly micromanages the team, demonstrating a lack of trust in employee's abilities. Working with MoEngage team seems like working with your family. Work life balance is too good here, before joining the company I was also thinking that the people are just bragging for the work life balance, but the reality is much more good than I expected, people here are too nice with each other. In short MoEngage is a dream cum true company for any folk.

During the initial phases working along with the solutions engineering team was good. The immediate managers are supportive and genuinely cares about the teams growth and well being. The hod is the blocker.

Dislikes

Ineffective and unprofessional HOD. 1. The hod of solutions engineering team struggles to handle pressure, leading to chaotic decision making. 2. Lacks vision and fails to provide clear direction to the team. 3. Frequently makes racist comments, fostering a toxic work environment. 4. The HOD engages in body shaming, making the workplace uncomfortable. 5. Overall it creates a demoralising atmosphere that hampers growth and innovation. 6. The HOD sugarcoats conversations to your face but undermines employees by gossiping behind their backs. Sometimes it feels HOD is bipolar in nature. Initially, I was impressed with MoEngage and my team (Solutions Engineering). However, over time, I've observed company's unique value proposition has become less distinct within SE Team. I am struggling to identify specific aspects of MoEngage in SE Team that differentiate it significantly from other companies. I believe the leadership style of Head of Solutions Engineering is negatively impacting team morale and employee retention. Key Observations: 1. Lack of Impartiality: I have observed instance of favouritism and unfair treatment towards certain team members. 2. Poor Leadership Skills: The HOD struggles to effectively handle pressure,provide constructive feedback, and maintain a positive and supportive work environment. He has also been involved in body shaming, or passing racist comment on juniors/colleagues. 3. Negative Impact on Team: The current leadership style is creating a toxic work environment, characterised by low morale, lack of trust, and high employee turnover. 4. Ineffective Escalation Channel: HRBP is a good friend of HOD, I assume either of them have adopted each other 🙂. And the manager of HOD is too innocent to get swayed with his talks. 5.
