To begin with, your coarse choice of words to describe the company and its culture thoroughly maligns and misrepresents its image in front of prospective employees. It also comes as a severe blow to those who dedicate themselves to building and maintaining a positive work culture at Merkur. Secondly, in contrast to what you wrote, we have a strict no-tolerance policy for the usage of any forceful methodologies at Merkur India. We have a structured and seamless review mechanism that periodically assesses the performance and productivity of an employee based on specific benchmarks and organisational objectives. Our policies are unbiased, and our employees are solely rewarded on the basis of their merits and initiatives. For underperformers, we extend further support through mutually discussed improvement programs to help them perform to the best of their ability. Despite all efforts, the underperformance might persist, and in such situations, appropriate actions are taken. Of course, legal or disciplinary violations demand instant and critical actions and such cases are dealt with differently. Thirdly, the notion of strict timings being enforced on our employees is absolutely false. In fact, our flexible work policies permit the employees to choose a clock-in time/work window at their convenience, thereby enabling them to complete the standard number of hours per day or week when it suits them best. Had you taken the approach of writing a constructive and detailed review to articulate your concerns, we could have helped you better. Alternatively, you could have used our internal communication channels to reach the right ears in the right manner. Our systems provide multiple ways to make yourself heard - you can speak to your reporting manager, reach out to the HR team or even the top management, for that matter. Should you have expressed your intent to enhance your learning curve, we are sure that you would have taken advantage of the numerous ‘learning’ opportunities that are offered to the employees on a regular basis. We engage our employees in Professional Development programs, workshops and training courses which help in enhancing their learning curve and polish their skills. We facilitate internal team movements whenever there is a requirement and skill fit helping employees to grow professionally and to provide avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission. To that end, we have a transparent appraisal and performance review process which takes place every 6 months. These are scaled-down reviews which focus on describing strengths, weaknesses and steps to take individual performance to the next level. We at Merkur Gaming India provide multiple avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission which includes timely performance appraisals i.e. transparent, fair, and meaningful, advancements in terms of work, and opportunities to move up the hierarchy. Regarding "strict work timings", it is imperative to state that we acknowledge that our employees need flexibility in work schedule to balance work with other demands and responsibilities, and therefore, provide - work from home option (on an as-needed basis), adjusted work schedule (team members may want to work the standard number of hours in a workday or workweek but vary their start and end times), paid Short leave every month and even part-time schedule. Our HR team does diligently prepare and adjusts the Holiday Calendar to ensure availability of long holidays / weekends whenever possible. We believe that “Happy people always give their best” and that is the culture which is running through the core fabric of our existence. Presently, our work force is working out of home and the management continues to extend all possible support to each and every employee. A bare perusal of the feedback indicates that it has been made with the intent of defaming the organization and hurting its reputation. The language is thoroughly malicious, defamatory and unsubstantiated with the intent to mislead prospective employees. We are genuinely concerned. It is further disturbing to note that you are one of us holding such deep grudges and misguided beliefs about the organization. Speaking of growth, we place a huge emphasis on continual learning. To that end, we provide employees with Professional Development workshops, training courses —whatever inspires curiosity and develops abilities. We offer numerous rewards and benefits to our employees – including but not limited to medical insurance, health care drives, wellness programs (in-house yoga classes and gym) flexible, reasonable work-from-home arrangements whenever possible, cultural and sports clubs and, of course, spectacular parties and annual team retreats. We offer competitive pay and benefits as per Industry standards, but we always look for ways to reward those who stand out among their peers and demonstrate true dedication. Speaking of growth, if you have a clear definition of what career growth means in your own mind, you will be able to take advantage of the growth opportunities available to you here at Merkur Gaming India, as well as opportunities that are provided by external trainers through Professional Development workshops, training courses. Furthermore, we provide avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission which includes timely performance appraisals i.e. transparent, fair, and meaningful, advancements in terms of work, and opportunities to move up the hierarchy. If you feel you are unable to take charge of your career, please free to speak to your reporting manager or the HR team and they will counsel and guide you. If you feel, you have anything to say to the top management, we follow an ‘open door’ policy.
