We have a structured and seamless review mechanism that periodically assesses the performance and productivity of an employee based on specific benchmarks and organisational objectives. Our policies are unbiased, and our employees are solely rewarded on the basis of their merits and initiatives. For underperformers, we extend further support through mutually discussed improvement programs to help them perform to the best of their ability. Despite all efforts, the underperformance might persist, and in such situations, appropriate actions are taken. Of course, legal or disciplinary violations demand instant and critical actions and such cases are dealt with differently. Thirdly, the notion of strict timings being enforced on our employees is absolutely false. In fact, our flexible work policies permit the employees to choose a clock-in time/work window at their convenience, thereby enabling them to complete the standard number of hours per day or week when it suits them best. Had you taken the approach of writing a constructive and detailed review to articulate your concerns, we could have helped you better. To that end, we have a transparent appraisal and performance review process which takes place every 6 months. These are scaled-down reviews which focus on describing strengths, weaknesses and steps to take individual performance to the next level. We at Merkur Gaming India provide multiple avenues to reach individual career goals while fulfilling the company's mission which includes timely performance appraisals i.e. transparent, fair, and meaningful, advancements in terms of work, and opportunities to move up the hierarchy. Regarding "strict work timings", it is imperative to state that we acknowledge that our employees need flexibility in work schedule to balance work with other demands and responsibilities, and therefore, provide - work from home option (on an as-needed basis), adjusted work schedule (team members may want to work the standard number of hours in a workday or workweek but vary their start and end times), paid Short leave every month and even part-time schedule. Our HR team does diligently prepare and adjusts the Holiday Calendar to ensure availability of long holidays / weekends whenever possible. We believe that “Happy people always give their best” and that is the culture which is running through the core fabric of our existence. Presently, our work force is working out of home and the management continues to extend all possible support to each and every employee.
