As a Company it's a Pioneer in Insurance Sector. If anyone is keen to Start there career in Insurance, they should definitely opt for Max Life. The Training and Development they provide is Unparalleled to any other competitors. Also the Incentives/Variables are excellent and good enough. Except the basic Salary Package. But the Management Working in Nagpur Branch is Unorganized and Chaotic. Steps to succeed any Agency channel are Simple, Bring Agents, Train them, make them Understand the work and then Business comes in Automatically when ur agent is Upto the mark. 1. The basic Salary package they provide is much LOWER than the competitors. 2. What i Disliked most is the Working Environment. Specifically Of Our Branch. (Nagpur 1 - Under Office Head MANISH NATH , and His Sidekick ATUL CHITNAVIS (EVIL TWINS OF NAGPUR BRANCH) *I DO NOT KNOW HOW THE OTHER BRANCHES IN PAN INDIA WORKS THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY FOR MY BRANCH NAGPUR 1, NOT ANY OTHER BRANCH. 3. The Pressure of Business Procurement is from First Month. As soon as your done with your training (Online Training nowadays) they start Hammering you for Business. And the Pressure is so severe it almost feels like an Harassment. 4. As Insurance is a Need based product. Nobody can sell a Policy on a Daily Basis as if it's Milk or Bread. 5. They (MANISH&ATUL) would even Pressurize you to buy out your own Policy. 6. Worst thing is the language and manner of speaking with an employee whether a performer/Non Performer , New one or Vintage one is so Unethical and Degrading. It is so insulting to an extent that i have seen grown-ups cry coz of such insult. 7. Even if it's a Well Reputed Company but the Attitude and Harrassing behavior of the seniors makes most of Employees new or old to leave. 8. Doesn't matter if u were the performer of the Month or Year, if there is something they want and u couldn't deliver, they would forget all ur past achievements and treat you as an Useless Baggage. 9. The worst Thing i felt is the lack of respect as a Human to ur employees, Disgraceful comments such as "You're ur Parent's Mistake" , "You are Not even a Man" and many more things which i can't type here. Imagine what it does to a person when he listens such infront of whole staff? How does it affect his mentality? How can they expect anyone to go on Field and work with a clear mind after listening to such in morning meeting? Everyday you need to report to office head for leaving office. They will reject your leave without your knowledge. Also there is one trainer who knows nothing about insurance. Youwill feel like each day as a struggle. Vp come office head plays the role of a superstar for the office with such an egoistic attitude. I think other branch offices are far better comparing to Kollam office. If you put down your paper they will reject it and ask business from you. More than 5 persons already left the office with their toxic culture. Don't trust their words during interview they will give a package which is lesser than your current ctc and will give excuses as you will earn promotions in a fast track mode. nothing doing you will not meet their unrealistic targets. Dislike is you need to also work on 2nd and 3rd Saturday on your week off also if you r on sales department. No support from managers and Management. Zero learning and skills development. On low package they expect high level quality work from employees. Worst management and system. Field work also involved in the low salary. 2 field visit per day.
