They do hiring only from selected colleges, And there are many good colleges but students are not hired from there, they hire mostly people from Haryana state but only 20% are hired from other states.

No work life balance . Very bad for growth as well. Forget your personal life. Very stagnant. Low pay you will literally get just 50 thousand in your account coming out of NIT & IIT and no it will not increase just maybe 10 k a year increase. Also expect coming on Sunday as well in the name of incentives. The alpha that you get is based on your leave attendance which means you can’t even take the mandatory leaves that the company has assigned. Also no switch can be made inter department. Ironically people from private colleges like Thapar get comfortable departments like supply chain and IIIT’s have to work as line incharge and you have no say in it. They will not change anything. 1. Only 12 leaves in a year (1 Holi, 1 Diwali and other 10 (bi annual week shutdown) . For rest of the festivals if it comes on non Saturday/Sunday, then Saturday becomes working . 2. Long working hours (9hours 45 minutes) per day . 3. Very less flexibility . 4. When you become a little bit senior , you are not able to take leaves . 5. Work life balance is not here. Usually I open my laptop at 7 AM to download reports & data, and my day ends at 7:30 - 8:00 PM. Month end is more hectic.

Hi salaries compare to market rates. Exposure of manufacturing process and actual issues coming in the vehicle.

hikes has been reduced compared to previous years. Also department level manager have high power given so if you are not good with him it can destroy your career. The mission in the policy about work from home but in actual it depends on manager weather he approves or not. For rnd also it has policies applicable to production.
