I don't know How to answer this question but. Macleods company don't have a good work ethics. Hr are very illitrate and behave like very unprofessional manner. I like one think in comapny Hanuman ji tample inside plant at vapi location safety is a very worse condition.

So many things; 1. You will not get appraisal if you joined after 1st April. (They promise you give you 5% after probation i.e. after 6 month but after 1 year at time of Annual appraisal they will deduct the above 5% saying they gave you advance increment even if they above 5% was joining increment. 2. You will be trapped in the office, no roaming in lunch breaks, you will realise the security have more power than you or your HOD. 3. You will never understand the HR policies be it leave policy, appraisal policy or anything, HR will say everything is mentioned in HRMS but you will never find it. 4. Your HOD have no practical power even if He is VP/CFO/President, the ultimate power stands with the Management 5. You will be using MS Office 2013 (If you are lucky) otherwise it will be MS 2010 6. Your TDS will be deducted randomly and when you fight they will say, claim in ITR. 7. There is no place to sit and you or your whole department will be thrown here and there as per the convenience of HR/Management. 8. The whole company work on Manual document, there are people who can't even use basic excel formula like Vlookup. 9. Nobody knows what needs to be done, instead everyone will push the issue to other department. 10. Owners don't care about staff, if they don't like you they will send you home (Even if you are VP) 11. If you stay in the company more than a year then you can't leave it because now you can not survive the real world now as you are using outdated technology and you have outdated knowledge. 12. There is no scope of WFH and there are strict timings, 13. No dress code, come in T-shirt or Jeans even on working day 14. Company collect benevolent fund from employee but will not send the money to deceased employee, instead will you the fund in business for new months. Also I have heard they don't send the whole money collected from employee. 15. There is no top up in insurance, further if you used insurance and it was not cashless then forget the money for 6-7 months, even though the insurance company will provide the fund and you will get the SMS from insurance still Macleods will not give back the money to you (Earn interest on you insurance money). If you feel the above statements are wrong, fine. Join the company and get the answers by yourself. Don't worry you don't to intimate about leaving if you are on probation. I will keep on updating as I relax and recollect the information. #Edit 2 1. At the time of FnF you will be verbally informed you can take SL,CL but after 1-2 months of your resignation they will send you an email regarding resignation acceptance wherein they will say no leave is allowed except CO and your notice period is extended. 2. In macleods if you want increment you will have to sign a bond of 2 yrs and if you leave organisation before 2 yrs then 1st they will collect money then after 2 month they will give you FnF i.e. 3 months your money will be used by company. Company is used dead man's money, insurance money, FnF money or hold vendors money to run their own. Pathetic...Read More

Marketing department is worst, specially some guys who reached to the level of AGM and GM after 10-15 years experience in same company Harass new employees who join under them. Very late working hours No support from other department for cross functional work Reporting for every 1 our on daily basis, if not send they deduct your salary of the same day For expenses you have to pay from your pocket and many bills they don't accept and stop your reimbursement for long time and some time deduct as well. Multiple Reporting system - Daily Report, FW Report same day on whatsapp, detailed field work report same day after coming from field work No admin support - they do not provide stationary and files for there employees, some times employees have to spent there own money for the same, even people fight for space in the office, due to lack of space, very poor management.
