There is a lot of potential for learning for freshers when they are in the right team.

Dislikes

(1) Compensation is below industry standard. (2) It is a startup so there is a lack of structure in alot of places. (3) Management has very little technical knowledge, so it is very difficult to make them understand technical challenges. Management makes commitments without proper planning or feedback from product team. (4) Jugglingbetween multiple tasks at a time (I am not talking about 2-3 tasks, I mean 6-7 tasks) (5) No action is taken on feedback for improvements. (6) Work force consists of underpaid, overworked and un-appreciated people, which results in a un-motivated and low-energy environment. Except for a few people, noone is willing to help. (7) Leadership does not have a clear goal or direction. There are new milestones set evey 2-3 months, abandoning the previous goal. (8) Expected to extend working hours and provide support on weekends. Even for a startup it's too much. (9) Departments like HR, accounts etc are the worst. No resolution for any issues raised, just give excuse or put the blame on the employees only. In short: Good to start your career if you want to learn. There is a lot to learn about technical and non-technical areas. The domain is very much stronger and much secure to work within. You'll get to work with so much of talented peoples here.

Dislikes

Not fully satisfaction for all of the employees here. In terms of appraisals, salary increaments are very much poor if you're working for a long term here. Salary structure is not up to the market standard for existing employees. The statement differenciates when we talk about higher management. It's quite dissatisfying.

Management is not aligned to one common goal. There is no prioritisation on tasks and roadmap. Everything is high priority. No work-life balance. You have to be available 24*7 for any support. Organization seriously need to work on ethics and empathy towards its employees.

There's a open culture here, no closed ODCs. no login / logout punch-inns. Office is really good.

No one co-operates. company is always in the mode - "Yahan to aese hi hota hai apna dekh lo..". Basically answer to every question you raise towards management. No correction in path even if it is not yielding profits.
