Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Job security and learning. One of the best thing about L&T. Some benefits also good but for some senior tiers.

Dislikes

Obsolete policies, work culture, no stability in work location, semi govt type (either completely idle sitting or fully overload) Poor appraisals. I was top performer with rating (7 out of 8) still got 3% hike. Some Managers are heartless.

Worst HR policies. Employee is hired and after 3 months they come up with Background Verification issues. In mechanical field there are lot of small companies and some doesn't have professional behaviour to provide the exit documents same happened with me. Company was shutdown and they never gave me documents abd during verificationthey said experience letter is forged. I gave all proofs to prove my association with ex employer but L&T wants Noc / service letter from the company that is striked off and has been in co-operative. The said ex employer was on of the contractor of L&T and has been blacklisted due to non cooperation. Why should an employee be the target because of the ex employer non-cooperation? Why should an employee be terminated just because one employer is not ready to provide the documents and others employer verification is completely clear....Read More

Biased Rating. Management is not ready to hear engineer level cadre employees, they won't even get the respect that GET gets here. Always favoring leads, group managers and their foolishness. Those who work hard won't get respect, although it's a universal thing, L&T has no system to organize this thing. Completely relying on managers biased rating. People are leaving in bunches and without taking any action, they are taking only feedbacks....Read More
