The only good part of working here is that, L&T has lot of projects to work so there is no shortage of work. Hence your job is secure for next 2-3 years in any case.

Dislikes

The biggest problem which I have faced here is lack of trust on non- gujarati's by Gujarati people here. Too much politics. No growth opportunities. Very limited profile to work with.

Overall it's a good company to be in. At times you get caught up in between the internal politics which may hamper your peace of mind. The company encourages innovation and provides training under excellent supervision. Most of the work is learnt during the job.

Dislikes

The time extend during peak hours and non-payment for the Over time is little bit saddeng.

L&T has very vast knowledge learning platform as per my view. I proud to be part of team as mechanical engineer. Overall growth is also noticeable. Working atmosphere is very cooperative. Extra curricular activities are also art of job which i like the most.

As a mechanical Rotary Engineer, My main role is to do EPC of every Rotating equipments like pumps, Compressors, Turbines etc. From proposal to detail Engineering. Pump seection and review of offered pump data from vendor is major role in my job.

Career Commitment - 0, Only 10% identified people get growth. 60% remain in VITAL BAND 30% remain in Non performance. Although there is no criteria. Work Culture & Salary - In L&T you do not get salary hike, you just get a false commitment of Salary hike. Management - this is the great joke here. Actually, there is no management in business offixea. They are just messengers who convey the decision taken either in CEO office for businesses. Benefits - Name is Good Brand Travel policies are so pathetic. For managers the room rent limit is 1500 rs in India. Business travel are done by TRAIN mostly. Pathetic Flexibility - there is no Flexibility. It feels like working in Factory of 1960 1 minutes late and HR threatened to deduct salary Sametime there is no overtime compensation.
