Team is very supportive.The balance with the company is very good.You can raise your concerns which are career related and they will make sure that you are receiving what you ask for.

Compensation benefits.Veeva and Salesforce are niche skills and as per the market standards the compensation provided by Merck is quite low. This should be understood by the HR Managment and they should make market corrections for the exisiting skilled employees in order to reduce the attrition rate.

Company wise it is good, but the you never expect any support/help from management and team members. They believe in monopoly.

Company is good, but people of the company is not good. Don't expect any help or support from team members or manager. The words of Team leader is final. There is no job security at all. Also they don't give Two months notice period if they put you in PIP and at the last day of PIP they will call you and will threatened you to resign else they will terminate you. I love the autonomy I get here. Even after being very less experienced (in terms of YoE) I get to run projects myself. There is no sign of Micromanagement. The company provides great benefits in terms of health insurance for family term insurance as well as accidental cover. Also provides great learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Well nothing is perfect so this company also has their problems. The company was a lot dependent on external contractors for IT which it has recently started to internalise so shift in work gets hard. Change is hard but I strongly believe in the leadership to stabilize it with time.

I connected with Merck immediately when I came to give interview in the Merck office. The unique Merck logo and font and the vibrant colours, the posters which spreading the thoughts of curiosity really attracted me. I felt like this is the place where I wanted to work where you can share your ideas, ask questions.
