I love the autonomy I get here. Even after being very less experienced (in terms of YoE) I get to run projects myself. There is no sign of Micromanagement. The company provides great benefits in terms of health insurance for family term insurance as well as accidental cover. Also provides great learning opportunities.

Dislikes
Well nothing is perfect so this company also has their problems. The company was a lot dependent on external contractors for IT which it has recently started to internalise so shift in work gets hard. Change is hard but I strongly believe in the leadership to stabilize it with time.

I connected with Merck immediately when I came to give interview in the Merck office. The unique Merck logo and font and the vibrant colours, the posters which spreading the thoughts of curiosity really attracted me. I felt like this is the place where I wanted to work where you can share your ideas, ask questions. Compensation benefits.Veeva and Salesforce are niche skills and as per the market standards the compensation provided by Merck is quite low. This should be understood by the HR Managment and they should make market corrections for the exisiting skilled employees in order to reduce the attrition rate.
