It is a highly biased firm, if you are not in good books of senior management people, then no matter how good you perform it won't matter. Your growth rate is not proportional to your effort & skills if you don't know how to be in good books of some people

Nothing, it feels like high school nowadays.

Dislikes

Secretly company is falling down. No perks. Even the sick leaves are restricted. Should apply planned leaves before a month. No unplanned leaves allowed because sick leaves are being questioned. Concept of work life balance is just to mention in offer letter. Honest suggestion would be to prefer some other startups than KPMG.

Check whether you are going to work for managed services (support) or implementation projects Do not go for managed services (support) at all. Worst Manager (finance functional)ever seen in my 9 years of total experience. Not at all supports the team Blame game Not able to defend the team members. Any issue arises from client end he would be go on leave with out informing. Will not inform if any one of the team members goes on leave. Will never appreciate any of the team members. Micro managment -harrasment Not able to understand any issues If you want a good career growth do not land in the KPMG GLOBAL SERVICES support projects. -Good amount of project to apply my analytical skills on. -Onshore and client facing opportunities providing you with fair amount of chances to make case for yourself and get a fair credit -Flexibility to work

You could be either agreeable or disagreeable but you can't thrive in here by doing honest work on delivery by offshore silently. You have to speak up to not get exploited: -Arbritary policies on WFH and downgrade of rating over many aspects like days in office, timesheet default, and participation in cultural engagement -Uneccessary amount of gossib culture and favoritism even by Directors and Associate Directors to establish control -Unethical practices where people with no idea about execution of analytical concepts making call over "effective" hours and asking for people to charge less than work done -Bunch of people who expoilts and disrespects others enjoy the company culture and stick for no. of years while hard working/nice people have started to fly away -It is normal for some people to take away credit of your work while providing you with average rating for same piece of work which got them higher rating from onshore stakeholders...Read More
