My manager was great in terms of flexibility. Be it timing, leaves or selecting technologies. So many food options in cafeteria.

Dislikes

No free transport. Cafeteria way too costly. If you're not enthusiast you won't learn anything. Organisation lacks talented senior people to guide amatures. KPIT is a IT company but still innovative in other diversification business/areas. Promoters basic philosophy is to maintain Good Homely Culture for all. One can get freedom for doing/achieving specif task & learning as well.

Being a IT & having diversified mindset is itself a -ve point for promoters. B'cos with commercial mindset promoters, all the engineering product division/business are run through same old type thinking team (Master in only IT business). This causes huge frustration to new engineering background employees to implement project/ideas with engineer mindset. With this, even promoters basic philosophy is good, new employees are unsatisfied as they are either under or with working with same IT teammates. This causes delay in project implementation, wrong decisions/waste of time & money & ultimately low space to achieve market grip for particular product. This, in return deteriorates KPIT brand image in market. Due to imbalance in management thoughts (Old vs New Thinking) no Job Security, No proper Tool for Product Road Map, Unnecessary Politics & worst working atmosphere/culture<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. I worked in engg. division with orthodox/old mindset self interest mgmt.& never allowed to work for company benefit irrespective of capacity. This causes very poor performance in each engg product business & Then in frustration i left the job.

The company is open to innovation and readily adopts latest technology. I love the fact I am a part of the team that big data and data science. As a result, I get to learn new things every day which is worth addition to my knowledge. People are you are always supportive.
