Since I have worked with many Managers under me so this is not individual experience but collective. 1. Corporate politics at high level. We get to see this in every organization but at Kotaklife The pattern is - you can be in system or do well in system only if you are good with your senior. 2. They have poor leadership team, Employees are good in fact Kotak is doing well because of good sales managers but senior Leadership team is full of fake and egoistic people. They truly lack Professionalism. 3. They do not provide good training/skill enhancement sessions to their employee's. The only focus is on business numbers but never ever gave importance to skills of the employees. The focus is getting sales target done no matter what. Majority of the employees are not even aware about basics of financial terms. You will never grow - on aspect like Knowledge because they only believe in recruiting people for business and selling schemes to there own families. Business 100% done but you learnt 0% 4. Kotak life have started recruiting Management trainees just because they are cost effective to company but there is no value for management trainees in system.
