I am an ex-employee of the company, and I was on annual leave when I ran into a problem. I needed money to pay off a loan I took last year, and I had to keep my passport for security reasons. I had requested a salary of September 2021 (unpaid) in order to repay a loan and obtain my passport in order to return to Dubai. It is extremely disappointing that HR has refused to pay me my own salary. There is no denying that the company pays the salary on time every month, but when I was in need of money, the company refused to pay my hard earned money, which is very disappointing, even though I had told the HR that I would take it as an advance salary and pay it back within 2 months, but she refused and there is no response to my emails, and once they apply for visa, they ask employees to sign on many papers that are related to salary deduction, and unacceptable terms. Because there are no other options, the employee must sign here. This is how they keep a month's salary on hand. I'm waiting to fly back once the loan is settled; I'll seek assistance from the Ministry and get this sorted. I feel very Proud as i joined the company on the day 1, company trusted me & gave me a chance to prove my abilities and skills which i am capable of doing multi tasking. I joined Knowledge Planet as a student relationship manager, I have given my 110% honesty & dedication to the company & the hard work really paid me and now i am the Asst Manager Operations in the time span of 1 year but sad part is no salary hike and bonus of even 1% almost 2years but deductions yes it will be there. I am also thankful to my company that secured my job and paid my 60% salary at the time of covid for 11 Months. Over all i can suggest this is a good company. My suggestion is if you join any company, * Read the full contract which is made between you and company in the document of MOHRE & you should get the document copy. You get to work with good understanding team other than the HR and PRO team who are very unprofessional. They do what the MD asks them to do though it is not in their offer letter. That's bad

Dislikes

Though I was working under a good Manager, yet the management had no respect towards their employees. It was like pick n throw for them to hire and remove employees anytime. They hold your one month salary and then show false biometric reports to not give back that hard earned money. Because of their behavior they don't have good team in their much scoped business.

There is politics in the middle management level and the sad part is top management barely looks into this. Middle management peoples can easily manipulate the performance of an individual and presents it as they wish. This leads to advent of yesmanship kind of culture and factionism in the organization.

It was quiet interesting. The experiencing of teaching international students there was one of it's own kind. I struggled a bit in the beginning because of my poor soft skills but with time I improved a lot and get to learn so many other things as well.
