The mangers needs ego massaging and think that they are paying for their employees salary or if their pocket. The worst kind of people with no humanly etiquettes are found here. Have started hating this organisation now.. worst management with worst work ethics..!! I am a senior manager who’s been forced to do production alongside managing other managerial activities.. this was not expected from an organisation like JP.

Lately hate everything.. there’s no promotion.. there’s not even basic increments given.. just the brand name.. asset wealth management operations have become pathetic under the current leadership.. shame..!!

JP Morgan has amazing set of senior management who helps to guide and shapes the professional journey of an individual. There is alot of scope of learning and opportunities which will make an individual a successful employee.

Dislikes

Some manager take the internal mobility and play dirty politics like asking the current team to look out for more opportunities in the name of exploring the opportunity in the firm. This includes, discussion of internal mobility in the team and telling current team members that are lot of people waiting to join the team from previous team. This is highly unprofessional and I think company should refrain such managers. This also includes, hiring their own people from previous team and not being neutral to the rest of the team members. I love the hyderabad office more , it was a pleasure being in that office .. we had work and fun .. it was always fun to be there .. there are teams who doesnt support but office is known for its credibility.

I hate sometimes certain peoples approach towards team and their attempt to change everything when they come from outside .. when there is a new person from another company they tend to do what they did there but not adapting to the beautiful culture that the company holds in .

Salary work-life balance all are a given in this company. If you work here with a great manager you don't need to switch at least for nest 5 year. no day will be mundane.

IJP is now a tool just to retain employees who are leaving, i would want less on the current manager's involvement in movement, as they try to hinder it by influence to ensure only they have a good employee. IJP is intended for learning new skills but unfortunately that is failing.

It depends on where you come from. I was in Quantitative Research. * Good enough benefits. * Job security

- Payment disparity (someone 2 years less experienced may be at higher position with much higher salary even though you do same work with similar efficiency) - Bonus is decent but not written in your offer letter (no company can take bonus into account if you leave the organisation) - Your technical knowledge won’t improve unless you are joining as a fresher (who has little to no professional experience) - They still use Python 2 which was deprecated at least a decade ago. - Do not recommend for techies....Read More
