Do some research on Ambition box, Glassdoor, etc to get an estimate of what range of pay is being provided for similar profile, then negotiate accordingly.
Dont settle for anything less than the offer you already have. Try to negotiate further basis how the negotiations are going (ask for joining bonus, other benefits, etc) in case they're persistent in not increasing the CTC.

Should I Take the Risk?
I have a crush on a coworker who's higher up and earns more😅We work in different departments, and while she is two years younger than me, she belongs to a higher pay grade of employees who earn almost twice as much as I do, although we do almost similar work. Do you have any tips on how to approach her without making things awkward?
I know people who work for even more hours, travel 30-40km daily, listen to their boss daily, and still earn less than this!
