Front office Manager Mr. Nadeem Khan who believed in me to work in the department

All the staff in front office except Mr. Khan were quiet abusive and they just dominated me in front of everyone no matter what. I was a fresher and was giving my 100 prc. but Alekh Lal, Sourav they just tried to pull me down and just wanted me to stay in the concierge dep. and there Kota and kuldeep were like "give me all your money because we are the boss" Everything was just absurd except Nadeem Khan who gave me Oppotunity to work at reception...Read More

ITC has some core principles which the senior Management believes in, and they follow that. They are not only profitable but keep a good care of their employees. They really are LEED Platinum certified hotels, waste is recycled, water is reused, trainings are given for keeping the environment green and clean. They hire really goodpeople and pay them good too, so work environment is one of the best comparable to the Oberoi group of Hotels. The department HODs are generally suoportive and approachable. Equal opportunities and treatment not provided to the employees on unit pay roll. Salaries wouldn't come on time, less monetary benefits to count few. There's a divide amongst ITC payroll employees and unit payroll ones. The divide is not created by the staff there, but I believe by the senior management only. Growth opportunities are not provided through fast track leadership development programs. A lot of focus is on guest and their demand which would sometime make the employees pressured and unhappy....Read More

I am in service department so i learn most of things to improve my knowledge and how to comunicate and take actions. ITC is a first company where i doing job and erning money. I know i am doing my best and one day i will be at a bigest position. So thankyou ITC to giving me this opportunity.

In hotel i mate lots of people in which some people are behaving good and some people sowing their siniority and misbehave. But I know how to handle this type of people. I take both the situations in positive way. And learning more and more.

Work Details

First 10 months i was in banquets where i was as a sinior steawrd. Then i change my outlet to a bar which name is peacock bar. Where i learn how to communicate with people and how to serve them in standard ways. And now want to do MANAGEMENT TRAINING.
