Good renumeration and opportunity to learn cutting edge technology. Will get chance to interact with various customers who might usually be using the latest and greatest technology. To help solve their problem you will be compelled to do your own research and at least have a surface level knowledge about that piece of tech. In short you get more exposure depending on the incidents you might get.

Only thing that you have keep in mind if you are getting in as a Technical Support Engineer is that you are signing up for 80-90٪ of night shifts for the whole year. When they hire you they might first put you on payroll of companies like Teamlease or Ranstad and no one can tell when they would actually convert you as an full time employee. This really has a big downside as you only get the full benefits once you are a fulltime employee. Delay in this conversion can cause delays in promotions, eligibility for applying for internal roles and getting bonus or variable pay. Only criteria that you have to meet to get considered for conversion to an FTE is a UCAT test which most guys pass before their first date. However, no one can tell when you would get converted to an FTE. Important thing is that seniority or the order that you join the company in does not have an impact on when you will become a Full Time Employee. Whenever you enquire about being converted to an FTE, the answer you receive would probably be "We will let you know once we have openings". You will have to bug your manager or HR to get it done, but as I understand they don't have any role in it or atleast they say they don't. If you are about to receive an offer from Infoblox demand that you need to be on the Infoblox payroll right from the first day and take up the offer! In Infoblox, there may not be much to captivate everyone. The product is considered average by some, primarily because it focuses mainly on DNS, DHCP, and IPAM. If you are looking to gain in-depth knowledge in DNS and DHCP, Infoblox can be beneficial. However, since the product is limited to these core functions, there isn't a lot of variety or additional learning opportunities beyond these areas.

Dislikes

There are numerous criticisms regarding Infoblox. Here are some key points to consider before joining the company. Management should address these issues: Favoritism: The TAC team is predominantly composed of individuals from Kerala, including the managers. This results in favoritism, with management promoting their own people, evenif they lack the necessary knowledge in case handling and technology. Diversity: Despite frequent LinkedIn posts about "Infoblox is hiring," there appears to be a bias against hiring candidates from the North, often citing "Mother Tongue Influence" as a reason for rejection. However, internally, there are many employees from the south with significant levels of MTI. Management: Across all levels of management, you will encounter inconsistencies. Managers often disregard the documented processes and impose their own interpretations of what the process should be. It is crucial for management to adhere to the actual documented processes that need to be followed. Allowance: Don't expect substantial financial rewards in terms of appraisals, increments, bonuses, or shift allowances. The amounts provided are often minimal, accompanied by a generous dose of "appreciation." Hiring: When hired, you will initially be on Randstand payroll with a one-year agreement, thus missing out on the actual benefits of Infoblox. During this period, your performance in training and other processes will be evaluated. However, the criteria for becoming a full-time employee (FTE) at Infoblox are not clearly communicated. Once you transition to Infoblox Payroll, you will still be on probation for nearly six months. Very toxic work culture. No work-life balance. They are micro managing everything. Expects to be available round the clock. Not at all an employee friendly company. They are mentally harassing and destroying mental peace. If you share your difficulties that your are facing here, they will hold a grudge on you.
