indian Railways being the largest government organisation, career growth for group 'c' employees depends on individual performance. individual should strive continuously to improve and get excellent APRs (annual appraisal reports) for career progression. The Boss should consider you as indispensable. Not to expect much help or guidance from teammate. Routine training is available through various centers. Very good for those who love travelling. Any innovative ideas are difficult to implement since the Organisation strictly follows the rule book and is generally not encouraged. As this is a Government Organisation, the monotony in the working system exists.New innovative ideas are not given credence due to various factors in the system.

As head the finance department enjoyed working with various departments, feel very satisfied when our point of view is accepted resulting in huge savings to the organisation. Improves tremendous knowledge by associating with ongoing major works.
