The severance package for Short Service Commissioned Officers isn't as per the recommendations of various committees. Short Service Officers are left to fend for themselves after completion of their tenure. Subsequent transition to corporate is hard and mentally taxing.

Dislikes

If one is looking for a regular 9 to 5 routine, then its not the place for you. Its a 24x7 service and requires utmost commitment of one's time to a greater purpose. If this does not clicks you...Navy is not the way to go.
