Nice place to work for thrill seekers. Job security is no matter of worry. Good facilities for family. Post retirement benefits are good. If ambitious, one can learn a lot about cutting-edge technology virtually for free. Mixes you with all kinds of people of India and puts you all over india. So by the end, you have really 'seen it all'

Scope of skill development almost nil. Navy makes us a jack of all the trades but a master of none. Nonexistent family life. Very less 'real' responsibilities and no scope for vertical growth.
Work Details
Work is pretty interesting as we are tasked on a new job every other day. Long sailings and long absence from family. A very robust and disciplined set of people to work with.
