1. Horrible work life balance. May cause immense stress of family and marriage. Significant other needs to understand the service requirements well. 2. Can be posted in areas of extremely poor connectivity 3. Loneliness in many postings. If you're an extreme extrovert, it may not be for you. 4. Availing leave is difficult. Though authorised 60 days annual leave and 20 days of casual leave. Leave for officer's is generally overlooked and granted with reluctance. Generally due to a shortage of young officer's in the Army. 5. Be prepared to become a stranger to your family, friends at home, and the culture you came from. The Army has it's own culture. 6. I feel proud that I served the Nation. The buddy system is like an family. There is no so much travel involved, however local travel is deemed upon day to day requirement. In Army our colleagues are from throughout the country and all religions, we enjoy with each other like a family.

Dislikes

I enjoyed the journey. Question of dislike does not arise. However, the compensation is good but growths is slightly slow.

Work Details

The work experience in the Indian Army is very challenging. We have to plan our next day work, brief teammates & ensue executions. To work with seniors as well as colleagues is a great experience.
