I work with imperial group, specifically in chemical segment at Imperial Chem Incorporation
Am a fresher this is my first job.
There sales target is unrealistic & poor, they ask me to achieve minium 25 lakhs new sales after that am eligible for incentive which will be 200-400₹ on per lakh.
If I have developed new client below 25 lakhs they will not give anything, also if I bring order by following up existing client they don't count that too.
Company itself annual turn over is 2-3 crore they expect me to get same figure to become eligible for incentive (25 lakhs per month)
They give salary as a fresher & they try their best where they can save money by not giving incentive.
They too pay salary after 10th sometimes on 14th. In some months I manage to cover 25 lakhs but here too my incentive is not given on time after several reminders.
If I come 5 minutes late they deduct 100₹. If I spent 5 more in lunch they will deduct salary.
Overall in a month I come 3 days late, and they deduct 1000₹ by giving me 1-2 minutes calculation. Very 3rd class people.
There is no calculation of how much extra time I spend after office hours. They say it's my problem if my work is not finished on time
Many times manager takes meeting after office offical closing time, they don't count that.
We on an average spend 9 to 9:30 hours in office & they are too not happy with it.
Very toxic !!!
Overall they want work but they find ways where they can save money....Read More

The management overall are of good people. If have any personal problem they will support.
.
It is a good place to learn skills like negotiation, communication, cold calling, follow up, client servicing, coordination, multitasking and under pressure work.
.
The company offers good exposure to international business development youwill learn in depth about export, incoterms (all about cargo shipments, containers CHA, logistics operations/supply chain & documentation).
.
The company actually manufactures decent quality products which are supplied in some big renowned companies sometimes they provide an opportunity to tackle these companies & senior purchase officers, which is anyway good learning and experience.
.
They allow freshers to welcome their new ideas.
.
The crowd in the office are friendly as the team is very small for that reason there is no politics.
.
Good place to start a career if you are a fresher but suggest not to serve more than a year.
.
Company provide PF as an employee benefit....Read More
Dislikes
They don't know how to handle employees.
.
There is no culture & they do not respect nor value any of the employees.
.
The overall environment is not good.
.
Company do not initiate any outing / trips or any other employees activities.
.
Also there is no rewarding or performance measuring thing, sometimes the freshers who don't knowhow to type a mail or how to convert word doc into PDF will have good starting salary compared to that employee who is serving the same position same role for last 2 years with an recognise degree.
.
They only pressurise for sales & make you feel that you are doing nothing.
.
Company do not use any CRM or software or tools to make work easy because of that there is always chaos/confusion & tension happens.
For small things many people will involve & blame each other very disorganised thing to go through.
.
After onboarding new employees, they don't give proper training and work gets started before that for that reason employees struggle and then management questions on its performance.
.
Management is very very strict.
Personal phones are not allowed in the office not even in lunch hours which is of 30 minutes and all saturdays are working.
.
Non veg & eggs are not allowed to eat in the premises.
.
Management keeps doing micro manage to everyone by checking what time employees come as 5 min late is still not acceptable. If got late get ready to be scold very badly in a very rude way from the director.
They ask to be in disciplined but the actual fact is the office itself never closes on time. They will give you work at the last minute or they will conduct a meeting in which the manager always comes late intentionally (as a reason to show authority)
.
Sales executives are given keys as a responsibility to open office then an hour later cleaning staff comes & then manager/director arrives. It feels like the cleaning staff is more valuable to us, same way executive stays at last to lock the office as everyone left early.
.
Management have trust issues, day to day activities like Gmail id & indiamart login id & password (credentials) aren't shared, for which work flow is affected. They constantly keep checking call logs and WhatsApp chats of office phone (which company provided) that also infront of executive which somewhere feel bad as it show lack of trust.
.
Reporting are taken in many intervals,
-Day plan report
-Day end report
-Weekly checklist
-Monthly sales report
-To-do's list
-Suprise work audit
-Sometimes every single hour reporting -Performance meeting with director on every 7 days depends upon his mood
.
Seems that they do not have any other work other than taking reporting from us.
.
Other than that they will interrupt & mock on a personal level such as the way of sitting, eating evening snacks, talking with colleagues and on dressing. Sometimes they will send cctv footage screenshot and ask, why you get up from your desk. According to them you should not get up from the desk for straight 9 hours.
.
They will send nonsense mails of new policy & rules formulation which makes no point and they themselves will not follow those.
Entire management are gujjus none of them knows proper english they take help of chat GPT to write mails.
.
Entire management is run by a family... 90% of them do not have proper full time management degree. They struggle with soft skills and professionalism.
.
The director & the company's management does not value, respect and behave well with any of the employees, particularly the director's way of talking is not good.
Sometimes he shouts & scolds very badly by using abusive & harsh words. With this rude behaviour employees cry & feel low.
Some employees end up with arguments, it's a very toxic thing to go through and not a professional thing.
.
Their behaviour is so bad, they will ask you to shift your parked car from parking spot so they can keep theirs.
.
If there is any bday or celebration they will ask you to decorate even if you aren't willing to do so. Although they will never come to help or will participate because they want to show their dignity.
When all arrangements are done they will come like VIPs cut cake, feed to their family members and will go. No one of them will ask or will feed you.
.
They do not have basic etiquettes, they feel they are something.
.
There is always a discrimination their behaviour will show like you are some low profile working for them as a slave they will say anything to you without even thinking twice, sometimes they insult too, the environment is very bad not at all friendly.
Their way of working is like the old generation they don't assign or ask to do a task in a polite way they will give order & for some reason if that doesn't happen they will not discuss the root cause but they will get hyper and start causing verbal injury.
Employees are scared of the director.
Also if such issues are complained to the manager they too don't support. Infact they will make you believe you are wrong.
.
There is no growth in designation nor in authority you will be "executive" forever even you perform best nor you will be promoted, appreciated or motivated.
.
Sometimes they too approach former employee to re-join company but due to such environment & behaviour no one comes.
.
The incentive structure is very bad, they give ₹200-300 on 1 lakh sales.
.
Salary is received after 7th to 10th.
.
They pay less compared to industry if considered education qualification, experience & ability.
.
Getting rates from management for client quotations sometimes get delayed.
Sample dispatch for client sometimes doesn't happen.
For new clients sometimes their 1st order dispatch is done late with packaging issue.
Majority of the time their rates are always high compared to other companies.
For these reasons it is difficult to build a new client base. But management doesn't understand these issues they will only question you why orders are not coming & behave badly.
Even though if you get them the information that the prospect client(lead) is procuring from other company at this price there are chances they cannot match.
.
The market they are dealing with is very niche due to their price offering it is very difficult to get orders. They themselves cannot build 10 new good volume repetitive order clients throughout the year. But they will question your
ability.
Reality is that the major business they earn is from traders & majorly from tenders.
.
It is a group of companies, whose venture are:
-Imperial oilfield chemical
-Imperial chem incorporation
-SP chemical
-Bhavi incorporation
-Imperial flexi pack
Management does cost cutting on a regular basis they will asks to do other companies work other than job roles.
.
Their motive is only how to get maximum benefit they don't care for the growth of employees nor they ask what they want to learn.
.
On an average none of the sales/ BD employees serve here out of their choice for more than 1 to 1.5 year maximum. 90% of employees leave within 6 months to a year.
Currently they have started a bond system for that reason freshers are locked as if they leave they have to pay a penalty & will get no experience letter.
.
They provide PF but it's advice not to take as they will make errors and support is very bad. In the past they too had paid the penalty in the PF department.
.
Their policy states if taken long weekend leaves (link holiday) they will count weekend and deduct that day salary too. By giving a reason that work is affected.
.
Meanwhile management takes 1 week to 1 month holidays.
.
If leaves are pre-informed on due date they will ask not to take leave as they have got last minute travel plan.
.
All saturdays are working in a year 11 festive holidays are given.
.
Formal dressing is compulsory for the entire office but not for management....Read More
