There equity research is fantastic and a good learning space seems to be. If at all you are lucky enough to manage your finances in mumbai, you can get good learning experience in equity research.

Dislikes

I am not sure about other profiles at Isec however, relationship manager roles could be a nightmare for many of us. Isec is one of the leading broker but there retail business is something that I would recommend to avoid. The pay they offer will push you to 1990s and work culture might turn your confidence to trash. I feel lucky to leave this organisation.

Only good if you just need a job and want to improve some sales skills otherwise go for another brokers like motilal oswal because in icici securities the main focus is on life insurance only so it's better to go to any bank if you can LI because banks will pay you more.

Dislikes

There is no appraisal your salary will increase only after promotion. Managers are not really good or knowledgeous.

HR policies are very srtong.But HR is not. The basic subject 'Organizational Behavior' does not exist.HR doesn't understand the word Workplace and Work environment.They have a concept of bottom 20 ,which means if you fall under bottom 20 list(Low performance),u will be fired. No job security in Icici Securities.I studied various case studies of failure companies during my MBA and while working with I-sec I realized this will be the best example in future.My advise to all my juniors ,if you have other option,please don't play with your Future.Join other company with less salary but job security.And if you don't have any other options, start from today everything that glitters is not gold.All the Best ...!!!...Read More

The learning and earning is unlimited. But as a sales job having multiple products, only one’s interest can drive him throughout the job period. Because core sales needs your interest as well as your area of experience/expertise. Overall no doubt it is a very good organization.

Only accquired some knowledge on equity and Mutual Funds. Needs rigourous cold callings , on top of that insurance is the product that gets you recognized. All others are just sham.
