Before addressing the dislikes section of your review, we would like you to understand how the appraisal cycle works at HSC. We are an equal opportunity employer; compensation, fitments & revisions are independent of gender, ethnicity, age, colour & nationality etc. Constant feedback is shared with employees through the year. Compensation is reviewed once every year in April based on the performance of the employee, salary band for that role/grade and are aligned with the market offering for the respective skill set. Also, when you say that there is “no proper monitoring of employees”, it lacks any context and does not provide a clear picture. At HSC, we have over the years created and curated a culture of employee centricity which also acts as the cornerstone of our foundational values. Since we have an open-door policy, our employees are always encouraged to talk to their managers, engineering group head or engineering head for that matter if they require any guidance or feedback. As HSC is a PCMM & CMMi Level 5 certified organisation, all of our departments and engagements are guided by a clearly defined framework, policies and procedures for talent management & engagement. Every employee is bound to have a 1v1 meeting with their managers and in every few months with their skip-level managers. Using internal platforms like Q2M, Zero Hour, Amber etc. employees can always share their concerns and suggestions with the management. While our dedicated Learning & Development team schedules various comprehensive trainings from time to time with active inputs from Engineering, employees can always talk to their managers as trainings can be self-recommended or be recommended by managers in consultation with the employee regarding his/her aspirations, role expectations or project requirements. In addition to that we also have Tech Talks which facilitates learning of newer technologies and a fully stocked & updated library with books ranging from technology to management. Then there are the Centers of Excellence, where employees can learn and interact with like-minded engineers to work & innovate on technology of their choice. While we promote learning and are always there to provide guidance, monitoring in terms of constant micromanaging is not what we encourage at HSC. So, kindly make sure if you have reviewed the organization you wanted to review. Also, we are glad that you found job security a factor worth appreciating and you will be glad to know that HSC as an organization is not only employee centric but also does not believe in the practice of “layoffs”, which is very rare in the current scenario. When one has made up their mind that “Nothing” is to their liking at their workplace and mentions that they dislike “Everything” in the organisation, there cannot be much that can be done to address the issue. We would also like you to know that HSC is a PCMM & CMMi Level-5 certified organization and boasts of a rich legacy of over 16 years. We have many instances of employees who have come back because of the culture that we offer. Some of our associations with employees and our clients go back to 16 years and counting. The very culture and people that you have termed as “gutter” in your review, has been the factor that has made all the difference. The choice of immature and unprofessional language that you have used in this review only goes on to depict you in a bad light. While we do understand that there could be some misunderstandings at the workplace but without seeking the available remedies to address them you have resorted to share inconclusive & vague statements that do not provide a complete picture on this platform. This also goes on to highlight that instead of pointing fingers it would have been prudent to analyse your own improvement areas and attitude. No learning opportunity. You need to be in good term with management especially those who are older in company, for getting good hike and promotions. No transparency in process , if you get chance to report something incorrect done to you by some seniors , for sure that person will come to know about you reporting. And this this will impact on your growth. You will be told about big number of leaves but in real you won't get that and most of them get lapsed. We are also fortunate to have HSCians who have been with us since our inception and the media tenure at HSC stands at an impressive 6.4 years. However, yes, we do agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine.
