lot of learning opportunities. HMEL conducts lot of skill and personal development training. job security is another good thing here. Medical insurance is best thing i have seen so far.

Dislikes

low salary raise and work life imbalance. HMEL is not very good at keeping up the promises. safety is being compromised for the sake of production.Human Leadership department is quiet dominating.

It is one of high paying organization in INDIA under Oil &Gas sector. It's having beautiful Township & ample opportunity for learning/Trainings. Focus of Health-Safety (personal as well as Process Safety) over & above of production.

Dislikes

Inter department Transfers for some functions. Late Promotions inspite of multiple projects/expansions since 2018 onwards. 6 days working.

There is nothing extraordinary to be mentioned here. It is a company entirely focused on making money at whatever cost.

At least for my department, there doesn't exist any work-life balance. Everyone is expected to work from morning till 6-7 p.m. in the evening otherwise you aren't working enough and it will be highlighted in your quarterly appraisals and morning meetings.
