There was enormous amount of judgment reading, observation of court proceedings, and assisting the chamber staff of the practicing advocates/judges. The work culture is fairly decent, there exists bias against female interns/juniors because of the male dominant fraternity. The internship experience gave good trajectory for my legal career in my final year.

Dislikes

There is scrutiny for female interns. Exposure is comparatively lesser than the male counterparts when in comes to off-desk task in the court.

Work Details

The work was largely focused on commercial litigation and arbitration cases. As an intern I was assigned new legal research everyday after court hours. During the court hours, the interns would observe the proceedings and draft case notes.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)
