I always have work to do and learn.
They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.

Job security, international client base, on-site, decent facilities in office, multiple technologies so you can move internally and learn.
Poor salary hike, people loyal to the company are under appreciated, no mechanism to match the salary of existing employees as per market standards no matter how skilled or certified we are. Lazy employees who are in good books with managers are not questioned leading to more workload on employees who are hard working. Regional politics and use of regional languages by senior management.

a good management gives good results. I like most of the things in HCL. 20kms to my home and flexible hours but the wrong person to manage project ruin everything.
No hike, no early release, Hcl does not follow the policies but we need to follow the policies. zero health benefits. worst project management. Variable pays are worst of all these negative points. Helping an employee to resolve an issue is hardest part. refering own people to projects. Healthy hiring but the bench strength is bigger than what they need.

1. Salary & appraisal: They will not increase the salary for more than 2.8-3 years. Fake promises to increase salaries and hike. No extra money for OT also. And also they are deducting variable pays every months without any reason (there is court case against HCL for that, you can read article on internet also). 2. Work life balance: In one word disgusting. We are working from morning 9 to late nights 9:30 average daily even one Saturday and Sundays. 3. I got opportunity to restart my job after a break.
Client is God, even if client is doing things unethically it cannot be highlighted. Some of my colleagues were badly abused and exploited, when they complaint, they were released from project without taking any actions. HCL fill seats of projects with family or friends of client which results in bad culture and dirty politics withinproject. Here people work for their own survival not for learning or innovation. HRs in HCL never respond or rudely respond to queries raised which further demotivate the zeal of a person working at HCL. Appraisal cycles are always delayed and postponed. Even after you spend more time then the required time to switch IJP. micromanagement illegally use of authority by senior person Unprofessional behaviour by senior authorities employee HR partner don't listen to employees query and only support the managers in any case. They'll hire you work a X profile and will get you onboarded in a project with requirement of Z profile. This being either for the offshore employees or the bench employees. Appraisal letter is delayed by half a year. WFO is only applicable on Males at NV location as they a policy in which females are required to WFH after 7pm. Now company has started working on new technologies and trying to make a product out of it, I am part of that team. So work satisfaction is there, along with no mandatory WFO ( it mostly depends on your project and manager).

One thing only that no one cares about you mean to say when are you coming or going to office...now it's upon you takes it positive or negative....HCLT or Wipro these companies are kind of Desi companies...if u r 3.1 + above band then 15-20 % salary they will make as bonus and wipe out

If you want a safe job where you dont get laid off, then this is a good company. They give you a healthy work life balance.
Forget about appraisals, hikes or bonuses. In 2 years i got zero hike. When they change project they could change your base location even without your consent. I was hired as an automation engineer but later i had to switch to linux System Engineer role.
