Very bad appraisal and appraisal cycle, poor salary structure, no well defined process for appraisal & bonus. Difficult to get project aligned to your skill set, poor salaries, delayed promotions.

Hcl gives a much more work, we got many appreciation from claint but hcl didn't give any rewards. We get DP or EP grade in appraisal performance but we got maximum 40000 per year in appraisal, if we ask with HR they said hcl overall growth is low.

Appraisal is very poor, cannot think about promotion within 1-2 yrs experience. Promotion mostly takes after 5 yrs and that also done very rarely.

First of all thanks for giving opportunity in hcltech. After I joined got only salary didn't get any benefits. There was no hikes.

Working culture. Initially it was good, but later on it was became worst. Now it was too bad. They internally transferring resources without any intimation too experienced resources.

At initial phase we get whatever we desire but appraisal is just a formality. HCL management is the worst ever thing I have seen in my life specially 2-3 level up hierarchy. Manager would never know any update and policy or any answer for the question we ask. HR is also for the name and for navigating us to policy documents. I would not suggest HCL until we get good client and for short duration only....Read More

HCL is having only big name but I will recommend that not to join HCL. No support at all from company or manager. They just deploy you on client location after that nothing. Another is they try to how they can delay bonus and yearly appraisal l. Every year they create new reason to delay yearly appraisal. Despite receiving positive feedback during performance reviews, employees may unexpectedly be placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), as I experienced after nearly three years of service</mark>. Additionally, there can be inconsistencies in HR processes, where HR may reference negative feedback from managers, even when the PIP portal reflects positive reviews. This misalignment between management and HR creates confusion and diminishes trust. Moreover, the tendency toward micromanagement can limit employee independence and growth. Furthermore, most projects at HCLTech are focused on tech support. If you are an experienced developer looking to continue in a development role, it is advisable not to join. Managers may mislead you by claiming that you will be part of a development project, only to assign you to 24/7 support projects in rotational shifts, with the expectation of being available 24/7....Read More
