Ever since Jayati Chakraborty joined company gone to drain. No care for staffs. Monitoring toilet breaks and she reviews and gives warning. Horrible working culture. She is rude and always shouts. No fair promotions. Promoted if you are woman. Or if you are Bengali. Doesn’t care about staffs. How she becamed MD I don’t know. Worst. Now no HR also. So she dos what she wants.

Work here to lose your piece of mind. If you are licking the MD, you will get success. Worst leader. She asks why we are in toilet also.

You can't expect better salary. The workload will be high for new users and the senior will not help if they asked. Most of the senior will not work properly, they know how to achieve target by using tricks and fake counts. You wouldn't recognise by anyone even though you're working hard. The real issue is salary for new joinee the will mention 16k but you will receive 12k in your account. 1. Management
Some TL are not worthy of their positions and some are very toxic, even going as far as threatening that they will give bad reviews about you to your future employer.
Overall, low quality mgmt - its full of clowns.
2. Appraisal
It's a joke, no matter how hard you work. If your accuracy drops below 99%, you get a bell during appraisal.
3. Food
You get one meal and one snack/breakfast depending on your shift but they deduct this from your salary. With an already low in-hand salary, they deduct 2k just for the canteen every month.
4. Cab
Men are just used as bait for the female drop cab facility. This mgmt can't afford bodyguards, so they club everyone the worst way possible so that females can get dropped off 1st, even at the cost of men losing 1-1.5 hours on avg every trip
5. Pay
In-hand income is low if you remove performance bonuses, night shift allowances and other variables.
6. Roles/Responsibility
it's a copy-paste job. Forgot advanced excel - even basic excel, isnt required.
There is no standardisation in the process, yet they expect us to memorize SOPs of 40+ countries. Processes like documentation and amendments are terrible, as the supervisor pressures us to achieve targets by extending hours at home (but they won't add more people in team) or threatening us with PIP. If you are not working in RNA or RLA processes, forget about taking leaves during indian festivals.
7. F&F collection experiences
First they made us wait for 3hrs just to collect the F&F cheque. Even after that they denied us to use the washroom. Imagine devoting your time to this company, only to be treated like a stranger without basic respect after you leave. I don't regret my decision to exit Hapag Lloyd GCC, thane especially after how they treated us during F&F.
8. Others
Their tagline "we cre, we m0ve, we dlvr" is just gas - they only care about money and cost-cutting.
Dont be misled by the "we are the 5th largest shipping company in the world; you'll be reporting to indian mgmt, so it will be worse.
Its an avg company, nothing special about it

For Freshers, just work here for 2yrs or so, then look for other opportunities elsewhere....Read More
