Safety and security is good. Facility like pantry, bathrooms and meeting room are provided for employees. Good company for learning and understand to retail management.

Dislikes

Expectation on sales, work force and visual merchandising are high than realistic views.

Only people who are into buttering, politics and gossips will get promotions. So all the managerial level people are those who are their boss's pet and the people who will get promoted in future are the pets of managerial level people. HR Mahsher is absolutely useless, he hired me but after that he never picked my calls or reverted on mails or texts. AVM Isha slept her way to higher position and is currently sleeping with a DM and for sure that DM will be promoted as SM soon. Ex area manager Kapil, he is obsessed with females wearing short dresses. SM Manju, she thinks she is ruling H&M because she is Kapil's favourite. She lacks manners and respect and is very rude to employees has hundred mis-behaviour complaints against her but will never be thrown out of the company. Whenever area team is visiting they are not treating well also the just highlighting the problems as they don't have solution. Hr is of no use with least skills of there roles apart from their role they knows everything. Higher management team should work with H&M values and should give equal apportunity to all and should not make decisions depending on someone's perception. Should be fare for everyone. Should be open minded to receive the feedback without taking it personally.

Very good work life balance integrated with a strong value system. Managers are very empathetic & understanding to the needs of the team members. Hybrid work culture- with great flexibility to work from home.

Dislikes

Re-orgs keep happening quite frequently within the company continuously changing the structure of teams and way of working. Also roles/teams could get eliminated in these evolutions- requiring you to apply(&interview) for another role/team in the company.

I love talking and helping people so in a sales oriented environment, I would be able to talk to countless people per day. I also enjoy and know a lot about the fashion and clothes that H&M sell so I would be able to help obtain and advise customers on what they are looking for.

Dislikes

The main problem is, we never have enough people working. And second, the big bosses have unrealistic expectations.
