Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Toxic environment, salary was very less. Work load was over the head, everyday people are asked to do overtime. Even people had to come on Sundays. And employees never ever got the chance to leave office on time. Manager always tried show the fear of management to the employees.
