GE has an environment which will allow you to grow your skills and enrich your experience. The culture is excellent as well. Even the stakeholders are very polite and friendly. I am very much satisfied with the work and culture.

Dislikes

In terms of growth you cannot expect much if you are a star perfomer or looking for exponential growth. Like other Indian MNC GE has no growth mindset. You will stay in almost same place and same role with little growth. But if you are an average or a good perfomer you will definitely get what you are looking for.

I have seen both good days and bad days. Till 2020 work life balance was excellent. From 2021 everything changed. The work pressure increased with work load. Obviously, no new hiring was made even when the team was understaffed.

Entire organisation has a best culture, right from senior leadership to anyone and everyone in the organisation adheres to servant leadership and this brings the sense of ownership, empathy and belonging to the organisation.

Work and skills mapping, e.g., hiring would have happened for project x while one may end up working on project y, while project x is still getting structured and have lots of ambiguity.

Likes

The culture of the company is something which stands out for me. Open door policy, flexibility for the genuine cases, people-centric HR policies, no micro-management from the leaders, empowering someone to take the key decisions are some of the aspects which I like about this organization.

Dislikes

The compensation is not best-in-class as per the IT industry. The long-term onsite opportunities are not there too. So if someone is looking for some of these aspects, then it might not be the right place for him/her.

there is no opportunities for promotions, work pressure & mental pressure alot totally based on commitments always, purely sales driven company there are huge gap between on roll employees and third party
